Nicola Polloni (PhD, Pavia-Barcelona; MA, Siena) is Junior Research Fellow with the Department of History at Durham University, in the UK. His research is centred on the history natural philosophy and ontology (specifically, the theory of matter), and the cross-cultural transmission of philosophical and scientific knowledge along the Middle Ages and Early Modernity.
